Good360 is the trusted approach for disaster response and recovery. Throughout the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic businesses, charities and communities have trusted Good360’s proven approach to ensure the right goods get to the right people at the right time. COVID-19 lurched people into a state of ongoing uncertainty creating a new vulnerable community. People who would not normally ask for assistance became jobless, struggling to support themselves and their families.
During the peak of the demand in 2021, while the rest of the world was in lockdown, the Good360 team was ramping up, connecting 39 brand-new items per minute to people in need Australia-wide.
Throughout the pandemic, Good360 worked closely with charities, community organisations and local councils to ensure essential goods and hygiene products were available for vulnerable Australians.
Through the support of Good360... we have been able to take some pressure off young people by supporting them with hygiene and personal care items. These items can give young people one less thing to worry about for the week whilst they get the support they need.

Good360 understands the lifecycle of a disaster is a marathon, not a sprint and we focus on a six-phase disaster recovery framework for giving funds, goods and volunteer time during disasters: Readiness, Response, Recover, Rebuild, Refurnish and Revive. These six stages help businesses and everyday Australians understand where the need lies at any given time throughout a disaster’s lifecycle.
We understand that just because the world has opened up it doesn’t mean people aren’t still struggling with the effects that COVID and two years of uncertainty have left. Luckily, we have years of experience helping partners pledge their support over the length of the disaster which is essential to the community organisations on the ground, so they know donations will continue for the many months and years it takes to recover.
Ongoing effects of the pandemic
In March 2020, not long after the bushfires had finished burning, we soon learnt that there would be a whole new wave of demand. We would be asked to meet the needs of Australians who had never asked for help before, Australians who would be faced with financial insecurity due to a global pandemic. They were being asked to school their children from home, they were underemployed, unemployed, and some were ineligible for financial support including international students.
COVID-19 saw Good360 increase the number of orders 164%. We had to develop new relationships with donors, as community needs changed to items like face masks and hand sanitiser and eventually even Rapid Antigen Tests. Since the start of the pandemic, Good360 has distributed over 14 million items to COVID-affected communities.
The pandemic also saw us assist whole new cohorts of people. We supplied Empower Packs to our frontline workers, and when the crew of the Ruby Princess cruise ship found themselves quarantined on board their vessel, Good360 partnered with Mission to Seafarers Port Kembla to provide care packages.

How you can help
We are Australia’s largest online marketplace for businesses to donate brand-new goods to a network of pre-vetted charities and disadvantaged schools nationally – around 3,600 are registered. Over $300M RRP and 34M items have been donated by brands including BIG W, Harvey Norman, LEGO, Winnings Appliances, Dettol, Optus and Colgate.
How does it work? Charities choose the goods they need to help individuals during each stage of disaster recovery. These goods are delivered directly to local communities, or they can pick up from local stores – we offer a solution that suits communities at each stage of the disaster.

The real impact of Bringing Good Together
The donation from Good360 and Koh cleaning products has been a lifesaver. We now have over a years’ worth of cleaning products at our disposal! The impact of the donation flows further than just the products themselves, as we are able to divert the funds we had allocated for cleaning products, into our Mental Health Support Programs. These programs give our community access to vital mental health support ensuring they are being cared for long after the lockdown is over. We are so grateful and thankful to Good360 and its product donors
Every child that attended a participating vaccination clinic at Elizabeth, Munno Para and Salisbury on the weekend received a free LEGO set to take home. No appointments were necessary and children aged 5 to 15 required a parent or legal guardian to attend to their appointment.

We had very limited access to sanitizer and cleaning products throughout the pandemic and these products were such a great help to our school community. We were able to give them out in care packs to families in the community and also use them in our school student areas.
