Help communities in need stay happy and healthy
Good360 connects items in four areas of impact: Education, Home, Hygiene and Play.
Basic hygiene is crucial as it significantly reduces the risk of infectious diseases, improves overall health, and enhances quality of life. Good360 Australia aims to alleviate the risk of hygiene poverty by connecting households with the hygiene essentials many vulnerable communities are struggling to afford.
Imagine choosing between heating, eating and keeping clean.
Four million Australians are currently living in ‘hygiene poverty’, skipping purchasing essential personal hygiene and household cleaning products to be able to affort other essentials for the family. For 3.6 million, this is the first time they’ve had issues affording personal hygiene or cleaning products.
In Good360’s newest report, we explore the extent of hygiene poverty in Australia and how the cost of living has exacerbated the inability to purchase hygiene products for many households. The report also explores how Good360 works with our charity and donor network to connect brand-new hygiene essentials to vulnerable communities – but there is still much to be done.

Everyone deserves access to hygiene
At Good360, we are working with our network of product donors and 4,000 charity and disadvantaged school members to connect vulnerable Australians with the items they need to maintain proper hygiene.
Living without access to hygiene items can result in reduced self-esteem, exclusion and illness, consequences that could easily be avoided. With the cost-of-living exacerbating financial struggle, it is crucial everyone has access to the items needed to live a healthy lifestyle.
When Cleanliness Becomes Costly
With 1 in 4 Australians ‘doing it tougher than ever before’, even more households are unable to afford more than the basic necessities of day-to-day life. As the costs of housing and food increase, items like shampoo, soap and hygiene health items have become unattainable “luxuries”.
Lacking proper hygiene is not only a financial cost – it can come at a social cost: avoiding job interview, missing work or school, or children not going to day care simply because you can’t afford the necessary items to stay clean. Research from Pinchapoo found 81% of student leaders and educators surveyed identified that children evidencing hygiene poverty were more absent than peers not experiencing hygiene poverty.
Our Hygiene Partners
Receiving toiletry packs from Good360 has created a huge impact on the people we see who come to us for help. We have an older gentleman named Harry, he is 80 years old and he walks 40 minutes every Saturday to seek help from us, especially for toiletries specifically for products to help keep the sores on his legs clean to reduce the risk of infection as he doesn't have access to healthcare.
We have people who see our tables and exclaim to us "Thank God you are here" and we have to say thank you to Good360 for providing us with much-needed products to hand out to our Street Friends to help keep them clean and healthy as they are forced to live on the streets.
Cost of Living
The Ongoing Crisis
Good360 is the trusted approach for helping in times of ongoing crisis – businesses, charities, and communities trust Good360’s proven approach to ensure the right goods get to the right people at the right time.
Australia is in the grip of a cost of living crisis. The impacts of COVID, overseas turmoil, and natural disasters are driving record-high housing costs and escalating the price of everyday essentials including clothing, personal care, food, energy, healthcare, and petrol.
There is a huge toll on the mental, financial, and social well-being of Australians impacted by this crisis and everyone is exhausted from the “Permacrisis,” defined as an extended period of instability and insecurity, that has been the last four years.
Immediate action is required to provide everyday essential items, that Australians simply cannot afford, and you can help.
Managing limited funds is difficult for many of the people who present to us and personal supplies are always gratefully received as food is their priority. Home cleaning products are particularly appreciated by those moving into housing after a period of homelessness.

We recently received a valuable delivery of multipurpose spray and hand sanitiser from Good360. A high percentage of our clients are in financial hardship due to domestic and family violence, homelessness, the cost of living and several other factors.
Being able to give families basic cleaning products so that they can both increase their life skills, reduce the financial stress of buying cleaning products and feel they live in a hygienic environment, helps clients live a life of feeling they are worthy.
