Help vulnerable communities turn houses into homes
Good360 connects items in four areas of impact: Education, Home, Hygiene and Play.
Access to basic necessities is crucial for empowering vulnerable people, providing them with a sense of security and comfort within their homes. Good360 connects people in need Australia-wide with essential home goods such as furniture, bedding and clothing, ensuring they can enjoy a home life free from deprivation.
Everyone deserves a safe home
At Good360, we have already helped over 1,500,000 Australians with the items they need to live comfortably at home but the need is great and we need your help.
We are working with our existing network of product donors and 4,000 charity and disadvantaged school members – but you can also help.
1 in 8 Australians, including 1 in 6 children, are living below the poverty line – missing out on essentials or the means to afford a comfortable bed, a dining table, or warm clothes for winter.
Many Australians are juggling bills and other household expenses, skipping meals or not heating their homes to help make ends meet. One of the most unsettling statistics is of the people in NSW currently living below the poverty line, almost half are employed full-time.
This has especially been exacerbated by natural disasters and the cost-of-living crisis, which have forced people to cut spending on big household items.
The Price of Starting Anew
Our Home Partners
It’s always a focus on rent and food for me. I don’t like to look like I’m struggling with money. You need to set aside money to buy a jacket for a job interview - that comes out of groceries. You have to compromise a lot. It can make you feel quite isolated because you can’t go out with your friends and you’re always worried about money…
Things like Christmas and Easter and people’s birthdays, you feel bad not being able to give someone a present. But it’s just the way you live.
The Hidden Costs of Living
Did you know that over 13% of Australians live below the poverty line? That’s more than 3 million people struggling to make ends meet every day. Among the myriad challenges they face, the cost of necessities like furniture, clothing, and home items can be particularly burdensome.
Consider this: families living in poverty often cannot buy essential furniture for their homes. A simple bed or a table becomes a luxury they cannot afford. Without proper furniture, their quality of life diminishes, affecting their physical and mental well-being. Many families are also forced to choose between buying clothes for their children or putting food on the table. This dilemma highlights the harsh reality faced by people living in poverty: every purchase is a trade-off between necessities.
As we confront the stark reality of poverty and the rising cost of living in Australia, we must advocate for change. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that no one is left behind in the struggle for a better future.

CareSouth would like to give a big-hearted thank you to Harvey Norman and Good360 Australia for donating furniture to our programs.
A large wooden dining table, chairs, and ottoman went to Queanbeyan where CareSouth has set up a new home for a large sibling group. The five children, aged 4-12 years, were unable to be placed together in a foster care home. Instead, they have a purpose-built home to call their own, with staff (house parents) to take care of them 24/7. They love the dining table and said it makes them feel like royalty! They love being able to eat together each night.
Thank you Good360 and Harvey Norman. This donation has turned houses into much-loved homes, and we couldn't have done it without you.
