More than one-in-three Australians say the cost-of-living crisis feels worse now than it did this time last year. One in five of those surveyed on behalf of charity Good360 Australia could not afford to buy clothes or shoes. Alarmingly, one in five have also cut back on food or health care to afford home essentials, and one in seven report the crisis is negatively impacting their mental health.
