This November, we’re celebrating Rainbow Roos as our Member of the Month! Based in Lismore, Rainbow Roos is making a meaningful difference by creating inclusive, confidence-building programs for children of all abilities and their families. Their story is one of community, connection, and empowerment, made even stronger through their partnership with Good360. Keep reading to discover how Rainbow Roos is helping children thrive, build friendships, and experience the joy of play in a supportive, welcoming environment.
When did Rainbow Roos join Good360?
We joined Good360 in the back end of 2024.
What programs do you use your Good360 donations for? Who does the program serve? How does it impact Australians in need?
We use Good360 products across all Rainbow Roos programs, from our Babyroos sessions for toddlers to Bigroos sessions for older kids and teens. LEGO sets, sports equipment, and clothing help us run fun, engaging, and inclusive activities that encourage confidence, coordination, teamwork, and social interaction. These programs serve children of all abilities – including those with additional needs – and their families. By providing access to quality resources, we help children develop skills, build friendships, and enjoy experiences that they might not otherwise have, creating positive, lasting impacts for both the children and their communities.
What is your favourite moment/interaction that you have had with a client when utilising the Good360 product?
One of our favourite moments was seeing a young child who had never joined group activities before fully engage while building a LEGO goal with peers. Watching their face light up with pride as friends cheered, and seeing their confidence grow throughout the session, reminded us how these donated products create connection, joy, and opportunities for children to thrive in a supportive environment.
How does Good360 help your mission?
Good360 allows us to deliver more inclusive, accessible, and impactful programs. Their donations free up our time and resources so we can focus on coaching, mentoring, and supporting families rather than sourcing materials. They directly enable our mission to empower families, celebrate abilities, and build a community where every child feels valued and included. Thanks to partners like Good360, Rainbow Roos has been recognised with the Lismore Business Excellence Award for Health, Care and Wellness, Westfund Community Project of the Year, and most recently at the Australian Disability Service Awards, winning Best Program for Young Voices and Futures. These honours reflect the real impact of our programs and the essential role Good360 plays in helping us reach more children and families in need.

What would happen if Good360 weren’t here to help?
Without Good360, many of the activities and opportunities we provide would simply not be possible. We would struggle to equip sessions with the quality products needed to engage children fully, and some families might miss out on experiences that boost confidence, connection, and wellbeing. Essentially, countless children and families would lose access to fun, inclusive, and meaningful programs.
What is your favourite donation you have received from Good360? Why?
Our favourite products are sports equipment, clothing, and LEGO sets. Sports equipment allows all children to participate actively and safely, clothing ensures comfort and inclusion, and LEGO sets foster creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration. Each of these items becomes a tool for growth, confidence, and connection in our sessions.

How many lives have you impacted through Good360’s donations?
Through Good360’s generosity, we estimate that over 1,500 children and their families have directly benefited from these products in the past year. Each week, new children engage, learn, and build confidence, so the reach continues to grow, creating a meaningful impact across our local community.
