Our good friends at Winc invited Good360 to their Community Expo last week. Helen (Charity Partnership Manager) and I (Mark Herman, Corporate Sales Manager) had a great time meeting the Winc staff and their other community partners. Winc (formerly Staples) was one of our founding donors, donating items like stationery, printing supplies and work gear.
Our current members, Clontarf Foundation and Foodbank, were two of the 13 exhibitors. From sustainable coffee and toilet paper, to helping schools with one-for-one stationary donations, all exhibitors serve communities in very meaningful ways.
Winc teams were given time to meet with all exhibitors and to learn about the work that their employer was doing for communities in need. To engage Winc staff we designed a game that asked them to match five Good360 donors with the goods each donated (which were on display). Many took up the challenge in pairs and the successes and failures were all celebrated. Winners, as well as ‘good sports’ were offered a small prize. After three hours of non-stop talking Helen and I enjoyed a light lunch kindly offered by Winc to all exhibitors. What a valuable morning.
We currently have over $12m worth of brand new goods in our Good360 warehouse that has been generously donated by businesses such as Winc. A $25 donation will help us send the Gift of a Goodie Bag full of clothing, toys, toiletries, and other quality goods to Australia’s most disadvantaged this Christmas.
