Good360 Australia, the country’s largest digital marketplace for donated retail goods, has joined forces with the Large Format Retail Association (LFRA) in a collaboration that will enable more Large Format Retailers to donate unused and unsold goods, extending critical support to Australians in need.
With a focus on advancing sustainability, the partnership aims to broaden Good360’s impact while showcasing the leadership role of the Large Format Retail (LFR) sector. Employing around 470,000 people and accounting for nearly 25% of the nation’s retail sales (Deep End Services 2024), LFR is poised to drive significant positive change through this initiative.
Since 2015, Good360 has connected over 42.4 million donated goods to people in need, preventing more than 7,300 tonnes of waste. Working with a network of over 600 retail and business partners, it distributes unsold goods through more than 4,500 charities and disadvantaged schools across the nation. This creates a “Circle of Good” that reduces waste but also promotes profitability and builds stronger and more resilient communities.
Good360 Australia Founder and Managing Director, Alison Covington AM, said, “We are thrilled to partner with the LFRA, and excited about the potential of this partnership to make a real difference. By working together, we can help build a more efficient and sustainable retail sector, promote the shift to a more circular economy, and help maximise positive impact in our communities.
