Cost crunch bites harder

Media Coverage
Herald Sun; April 9, 2025

More than one in three Australians (34 per cent) say the cost-of-living crisis feels worse now than it did this time last year.

Millions are now being forced to make tough decisions to keep their households running.

One in five (20 per cent) are skipping buying clothing or shoes because they can’t afford them, new research by charity Good360 Australia reveals.

Alarmingly, 19 per cent have cut back on food or health care to afford home essentials, and one in seven (14 per cent) report the crisis is negatively affecting their mental health.
