$250,000 donation from CommBank’s CanGive Flood Appeal helps Good360 get brand-new goods to flood affected communities.
Good360, a charity that connects brand-new goods donated by businesses to people and communities in need, went into overdrive after record flooding along the east coast.
The charity quickly jumped into action, working with more than 300 Australian businesses to provide the right goods at the right time from personal care items and clothing in the early days of the floods, to homewares and furniture to support long-term recovery.
With their flood recovery work to date, Good360 has connected more than 675,000 brand-new items (valued at over $9 million RRP) to flood-affected communities in New South Wales and Queensland. By 2025 the charity aims to have distributed $1 billion of goods to Australians who need them most.
A $250,000 donation from CommBank and its customers has helped Good360 with this aim, as the charity continues to provide its resilient response to disaster recovery.
