Unlock learning for all with education essentials
At Good360, we connect brand-new items across four impact areas: Education, Home, Hygiene, and Play.
Education is life-changing, opening doors to new opportunities and helping kids and adults alike grow into active, informed citizens. We’re on a mission to give people of all ages, all across Australia, the tools they need to succeed, so everyone has a fair chance at learning and thriving.
Everyone deserves an education
At Good360, we are working with our network of product donors and 4,700 charity and disadvantaged school members to connect not only young students, but Australians of all ages, with the tools required for a quality education.
Research shows that disparities in tertiary education access and outcomes stem from socioeconomic status or geographic location. Socioeconomic disadvantage is consistently associated with lower academic outcomes, translating into a lack of confidence and informed citizenship into adulthood.
Australian students facing lower socioeconomic disadvantage often experience material deprivation, a lack of essential items young people deem as essential in education such as a computer, money to afford classes or school activities, or a safe place to study or do homework.
Imagine being disconnected from loved ones, learning and earning
The digital divide is the lack of access to technology and online resources due to financial hardship. It affects people of all ages, limiting their ability to learn, connect, and thrive in a world that’s increasingly reliant on technology.
In Good360’s newest report, we explore the extent of the digital divide in Australia and how living without access to essential technology impacts Australia’s most vulnerable communities. The report also highlights the demand that exists and how Good360 works with our charity and donor network to connect brand-new tech resources to communities in need.

Your used laptops can change lives
Access to digital devices, internet connectivity, and digital skills is a necessity in today’s increasingly digital world. Yet, 1 in 4 Australians remain digitally excluded, disproportionately affecting vulnerable groups like people with disabilities, older Australians, people living in public housing, and people experiencing unemployment (ADII, 2023). This exclusion limits opportunities for education, employment, and social connection.
Good360 Australia is committed to bridging this gap. Through partnerships with Work Ventures and Good Things Foundation, we’re working to establish a National Device Bank that will collect, refurbish, and redistribute laptops, tablets, and smartphones donated by Australian businesses and government agencies. This initiative keeps devices in Australia, ensuring they’re used to empower digitally excluded Australians rather than being recycled, sold overseas, or sent to landfill.
Beyond devices, we’re addressing barriers like internet access and digital literacy. By collaborating with our 4,500 charity and school members, we’re connecting Australians of all ages with the tools, training, and data they need for a quality education and an equitable future in the digital age.
Brands working with us to make a difference
Auburn Youth Centre (AYC) has teamed up with Dooley’s Catholic Club and Good360 to establish a transformative laptop library, providing vital technology access to young people without computers at home. This collaboration addresses the critical digital divide affecting many students in the community.
With reliable computer access, young people can develop essential digital skills, participate in virtual extracurricular activities, and explore future career pathways. Parents and guardians also express relief, knowing their children have the tools needed to succeed in an increasingly digital world. The partnership between AYC, Dooley’s, and Good360 exemplifies community-driven solutions that bridge the technology gap. It not only enhances educational outcomes but also fosters a sense of equity and empowerment among youth, paving the way for a brighter, more inclusive future.

Supporting quality education for all
Students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds face significant barriers to accessing the full range of education, especially in critical areas like STEM and music. By age 15, these students are, on average, three years behind their high SES peers in mathematics and science. They are also less likely to pursue STEM studies or careers, resulting in long-term inequities and fewer opportunities in the workforce.
Music education is equally affected, with disadvantaged schools often unable to provide instruments or programs. This lack of access deprives students of the proven benefits of music learning, which enhances cognitive development, improves literacy skills, boosts emotional well-being, and builds confidence.
Providing students with access to a broad and enriched education is essential for their personal development and for fostering a skilled, future-ready workforce. At Good360, we believe every student deserves the tools to thrive. By partnering with businesses, charities, and communities, we can ensure students of all ages receive the resources they need. Through targeted programs, funding, and donations of stationery, STEM supplies, musical instruments, and devices, we can work together to create brighter futures for every learner.
Wyndham CEC's Senior Secondary Program caters to students who have disengaged from mainstream school. Many of the students' families can't afford to buy stationery, especially when the students lose them. Wyndham CEC received a supply of stationery including pencil cases, pens, textas, erasers, staplers, staples, exercise books, and notebooks from Good360.
These have been a big help to not only the students and their families but also the staff who used to have to supply them at short notice when a student arrived in class without stationery.
