Storage King is known for being the Kings of Storage, Moving & More, but we are also the Kings of Community, and bringing people together. Inspiring change and making a difference in the communities we work and live in is essential to the Storage King culture.

Storage King has a long history of community partnerships, and we are proud to announce a new collaboration with Good360 Australia, that will have a far-reaching impact for people in need across all states and territories of Australia.

Good360 Australia is a national charity for charities, with Australia’s largest online marketplace matching the surplus of business with the people who need it most via a network of 3,000 charities and disadvantaged schools across the country. Since their launch in 2015, Good360 has matched over 27 million brand new items to Australians in need.

Alison Covington, Good360’s Founder and MD shared

“We are proud and grateful to partner with Storage King, to assist our team and members; charities and disadvantaged schools, to make good happen all across Australia. This relationship will match more of the right goods to the right people at the right time, helping to provide equality and dignity.”

Tony Skallias, Group Marketing Manager affirmed, “Partnering with Good360 is a great community initiative, as well as a sustainability match for Storage King and we are pleased to welcome them to the family. We also share the same values, and look forward to making a real difference in the communities we serve.”

Commencing in December 2021, Storage King will provide space and storage warehousing for Good360 members at a number of locations across Australia where need is great, but access to the non-food essentials provided by Good360 is limited by storage capacity.

The partnership will allow Storage King to deepen our connection to the communities we live and work, as well as extend our impact into regional and remote communities outside of our own network.

Welcome to our community Good360 Australia.

The power of turning surplus inventory into social good

With Australia accelerating efforts towards circularity by 2030, it is critical that all sectors of the economy and society are working together collaboratively and cooperatively to address the increasing resource constraints, inequities in resource allocation and growing waste challenges. This requires consumers, businesses, governments, and the charitable sector to all play their part in creating a more sustainable and equitable future for all, recognising we are all part of a collective dynamic ecosystem that is co-creating our future together.

International Women’s Day 2023 – Cracking the Code at Good360 Australia

March 8 is International Women’s Day, and this year UN Women Australia’s 2023 theme is ‘Cracking the Code: Innovation for a gender equal future’. This brings an opportunity for everyone to acknowledge the power of innovative technologies and systems in the advancement of women, who are marginalised globally and have a smaller presence in the digital world. We are also challenged to address the current barriers in place that keep women stagnant and play our small part to welcome women to move through society as comfortably as men.
