Gabee Press Release

GABEE GIFT GIVING – SUPPORTING KIDS IN NEED

This festive season, we would like to make a difference.

Take advantage of Gabee and Cobb & Co’s huge outlet sale of up to 80% discount on stylish gifts for yourself, family or friends and with every purchase of $100 or more, we will donate a gift to a child in need.

Our aim is to provide a gift to as many children as possible and to bring smiles to thousands of little faces.

Alison Covington, Good360 Australia Founder and Managing Director said: “Gabee are generously ‘Paying Forward’ a gift with purchase to a child in need – This is a great opportunity for shoppers to support this initiative and Good360 are thrilled to play our part to distribute these much needed gifts to children and brighten up their Christmas”

Good360 is based on a simple concept, connecting business excess product to people in need. This Christmas partnership between Gabee and Good360 enables the shopper to help distribute even more product to people in need.

This December, Gabee’s donation will include gifts to children undergoing treatment at The Royal Children’s Hospital and help bring some well deserved Christmas joy to these brave children. Alex Lowen, founder vivaRCH says, “The vivaRCH Auxiliary are honoured to be a chosen charity, and be able to work with Gabee and Good360 to help some very sick kids and their mothers and carers have a moment of joy by receiving a special gift at The Royal Children’s Hospital this Christmas”.

It has never felt so good to bag a Christmas bargain, knowing you are helping a child receive a gift this Christmas.

Monique Arnheim, Gabee Creative Director said “When Good360 approached us to work with them, we were instantly drawn to their charity model. We have been in business 65 years and working with Good360 who helps charities of all sizes and causes nationwide was important to us. We want to ensure we can support our customers, employees and heir communities and this was a great way to achieve this.”

To kick off the Christmas Sale, Gabee and Cobb & Co are opening their outlet doors and will be also offering the promotion online at www.gabee.com.au!

There will be additional weekend festivities at the outlet to get everyone in the Christmas mood, grab a selfie with Santa on Saturday and Sunday between 11.00am and 3.00pm, and have your presents and gift to a child in need wrapped by one of Santa’s helpers.

About Good360 Australia

Good360 is based on a simple concept: we connect businesses excess product to people in need.

Good360 Australia is a groundbreaking not-for-profit that dramatically enhances the positive social impact of Australian businesses and charities by providing e-commerce marketplace to redistribute surplus products to people in need.

Just as eBay connects people who have with people who want, Good360 connects corporates who have with people who need. All industries including retailers, wholesalers and distributors, generously provide needed nonperishable, like-new products. Good360 redirects those products to charities nationwide, who in turn donate them to the local individuals, families and organisations in greatest need.

Once Good360 Australia is up and running nationally, charities of every size and cause nationwide will be able to access vital product enabling them to save money, expand programs and strengthen their impact.

Good360 has operated in the USA for 30 years, redistributing over US$8bn of product, and is consistently recognised as one of the country’s most efficient charities.

Good360 Australia estimates that it will redistribute A$100m worth of product within three years.
