Welcome to Our New Good360 Team Members
We are excited to share that the Good360 Australia team is growing, and we have welcomed five new members these past few months. Let us introduce you to Samantha, Sean, Ákos, Lyndal, Peter, and Caroline.
United Against Domestic Violence are Good360’s Member of the Month! United Against Domestic Violence is a Not For Profit organisation working to help women and families impacted by domestic violence. Their core program is Project Phoenix which helps survivors of domestic and family violence rebuild their lives with dignity. The program removes some of the financial burden faced by survivors as it provides physical aid, such as homewares and everyday essentials. We Spoke with Nes from UADV about how Good360 has helped them since joining in May 2020.
We mostly use Good360 donations to support our Project Phoenix program. This program offers survivors of domestic and family violence items such as homewares, bedding, kitchenware, small electrical goods and more to help them rebuild their new homes free from violence and fear. This project has a huge impact on our clients as it eases the financial burden and emotional stress during an already difficult time. Providing new items to the families gives them dignity, care and allows them to create happy memories with their new items.
When delivering items to a mother and her children, the client was so overwhelmed by our support and couldn’t believe that she was gifted so many items to help set up her new home. The children were so excited to see their new toys and the smiles on their faces makes all our efforts worth it. The client later messaged “I felt like you took care of me, not just by providing everything we needed for our new house but like you were people who really cared about us”
It’s moments like this that drives us to continue our support for families escaping the horrors of domestic violence.
Our partnership with Good360 falls perfectly in line with UADV’s mission ‘Together We Can’. UADV believe that domestic and family violence is an issue that can affect anyone, a family member or friend. Our aim is to work together with the community, local businesses, and organisations to create change and education. UADV believe everyone has the right to live their life free from fear and violence
We would not have been able to access the products received from Good360 and with the recent COVID-19 outbreak UADV has not been able to fundraise to support our main program, Project Phoenix. Without this partnership with Good360 we would not have been able to provide so much support to our clients and including special extras that have made our clients feel extra special.
The donation of quilt cover sets, sheet sets, and rugs from Harvey Norman is a standout for me. Not only were we able to provide high quality bedding and rugs to our clients through Project Phoenix we were also able to lay some rugs in the refuges we support. This allowed the families accessing emergency accommodation to have a welcoming space when they arrive at the refuge.

Congratulations to our Member of the Month for December, Doin It For Rural Aussie Kids (DIFRAK). DIFRAK aims to uplift and provide support to Australian children in rural communities. Currently, they are holding their 1000 Christmas Gifts for 1000 Rural Children campaign, driving over 10,000 kilometres to deliver gifts throughout five states. Through the support of Good360 and the BIG W Giving Tree, children in regional towns are able to experience the holidays and are not left feeling forgotten.
