Member of the Month – Human Appeal Australia
Congratulations to our Member of the Month, Human Appeal Australia, who have worked to distribute aid to flood-affected communities, and collaborated with organisations to ensure maximum reach and impact. Recently, Human Appeal teams from Sydney and Brisbane were joined by Mr Jihad Dib MP, Member for Lakemba, Councillor Bilal El-Hayek of Canterbury Bankstown, a group of volunteers, and Good360 to not only show support for people affected by the floods, but to also make generous donations to organisations in Lismore and Mullumbimby. This included a $5000 donation to Resilient Lismore, plus a donation of $40,000 worth of whitegoods and essentials to Mullumbimby & District Neighbourhood Centre to distribute to local families.
