What programs do you use your Good360 donations for? Who does the program serve and how does it impact Australians in need?

CORE Community Services uses Good360 throughout all its many vaired programs. CORE has used Good360 within its child and family services, in our youth services as well as multiculteral services. Our programs serve the entrire community of Sydney South West from ages 0 to the elderly and everyone in between. CORE provides the community and those in need with preschool education, at home aged and disability care, youth refuges, food hampers, bill relief, refugee and humanitarian assistance, domestic violence assistance, as well as many other programs that provide essential services.

Being a voice and support to those who need it the most in Sydney South West have assisted CORE in developing safer and stronger communities. While there is a lot of work left to do, our impact over the past 40 years have made a positive change on the community of Sydney South West.

What is your favorite moment or interaction that you have had with a client when utilising the Good360 product?

Recently CORE Community Services have developed and distributed stay at home packs for the children and youth of Sydney South West. These packs provided items such as arts and craft, LEGO and other activities to do while at home. CORE also provided information around mental health mindfulness activities and essential services that are running during lock down. Seeing the reaction of the children and families that have received the packs, and the outpouring of appreciation has been a great moment that everyone involved should be proud of.

How does Good360 help your mission?

Good360 provides high quality merchandise at an affordable price. Due to this we are able to assist the community in a suitable and stable way. Working with Good360 we have always been able to create a plan to get those who need the goods the most in a safe and efficient manner.

What would happen if Good360 wasn’t here to help?

Without Good360 we would not be able to provide a lot of services that we do. Thanks to Good360 numerous lives have been changed for the better.

What is your favorite donation you have received from Good360? Why?

LEGO. Normally LEGO is extremely expensive, and families are not able to afford to purchase their products. Being able to provide young people and children with LEGO during the lockdown has been an exciting donation.
