All donations, products we have received bring joy, hope to our clients, they are so happy and grateful to receive the amazing products from Good360.
Good360 has impacted so many of our clientâs lives making them and our community very happy.
What is your favourite moment/interaction that you have had with a client when utilising the Good360 product?
We have so many favourite moments, so we update our website above and on Instagram sharing the joy, love, smiles and happiness on our client’s faces after receiving the donations! A few special ones were the goods we were able to share with our clients suffering from the isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns, those gifts helped their mental health greatly during that time. Also, the rashie tops we got made lots of our kids so happy to be able to play in the water.
How does Good360 help your mission?
Good360 helps Celebrating Abilities mission by supporting us with donations, providing hope, and possibilities to our clients, families as well as the local community impacted by challenging life circumstances.
What would happen if Good360 was not there to help?
If Good360 was not here to help us it would be heart breaking!
Without their support, our clients would miss out as we do not have the funds to purchase items to support them and or source items from other organisations.
What is your favourite donation you have received from Good360? Why?
The Colgate packs, t-shirts, water bottles, Wye river rashies, these items are loved by our participants with special needs, disabilities who have minimal community interaction beyond coming to our programs. This is one of our clientâs responses:
âMargie (celebrating Abilities and Good 360) you have made our day! The Colgate packs, water bottles and t-shirts put a smile on our families faces. We are so happy and grateful to even be considered for these gifts. We have struggled for the last year due to COVID-19 restrictions, being isolated and alone. You have brought hope back into our livesâ
This is the true value of Good360!
How many lives have you impacted through Good360âs donations?
With Australia accelerating efforts towards circularity by 2030, it is critical that all sectors of the economy and society are working together collaboratively and cooperatively to address the increasing resource constraints, inequities in resource allocation and growing waste challenges. This requires consumers, businesses, governments, and the charitable sector to all play their part in creating a more sustainable and equitable future for all, recognising we are all part of a collective dynamic ecosystem that is co-creating our future together.
Congratulations to our Member of the Month for March, Uniting Vic.Tas. Uniting Vic.Tas run several programs to assist communities in need and provide donations from Good360 in addition to services they provide. Since becoming a member in 2018, they have shared numerous impact stories of the joy they have created, especially to communities who have not experienced outreach previously. Read below on some of their programs and some special stories they have experienced on the ground.
March 8 is International Womenâs Day, and this year UN Women Australiaâs 2023 theme is âCracking the Code: Innovation for a gender equal futureâ. This brings an opportunity for everyone to acknowledge the power of innovative technologies and systems in the advancement of women, who are marginalised globally and have a smaller presence in the digital world. We are also challenged to address the current barriers in place that keep women stagnant and play our small part to welcome women to move through society as comfortably as men.
