Make Good Happen with Staples

Our good friends at Staples invited us to their Community Expo last week. Stephen (Product Manager) and Jo (Corporate Partnership Manager) had a great time meeting their lovely staff and other community partners. Staples were one of our founding donors, sending items like stationery, printing supplies and work gear, valued around $100k to our warehouse. Most of these goods were snapped up quickly, which comes as no surprise, as we discovered from a recent survey that one of the goods our charity partners desperately need is stationery.

Some of our registered charities were also exhibiting and it was great to hear first hand about the incredible work they are doing in the community. For instance The Clontarf Foundation, run academies in schools to empower and educate young aboriginal men through sport. They were especially interested in ordering useful tableware goods from us as they regularly feed the boys at their academies.

We were especially touched and elated when we met members of the Staples’ product team, who mentioned they had recently hosted an internal Octoberfest work drinks to raise money for Good360. During their ‘Friday Frolic’ they managed to raise a whopping $1200, which will go towards our Christmas Goodie Bag campaign. We currently have over $5 million worth of brand new goods in our Good360 warehouse that has been generously donated by businesses such as Staples. A $25 donation will help us send the Gift of a Goodie Bag full of clothing, toys, toiletries, and other quality goods to Australia’s most disadvantaged this Christmas. There are a range of Goodie Bags full of surprises suitable for babies, children, teenagers, men and women. Our Goodie Bags are the perfect gift for the difficult to buy for friends and family or work Kris Kringle?   Find out more about our Goodie Bags at mycause.com.au

A big ‘thank you Staples’ – we look forward to being invited back next year!
