The Good360 Team is Growing

We are very excited to announce that we have welcomed four new members to the Good360 Australia family over the last few months.

Let us introduce you to our newest team members; Jacqui, Kate, Salma and Letitia.

Jacqui Gibbs

Where in Australia are you? Sydney, NSW

What is your Role and when did you start at Good360? Sales and Customer Experience Manager, I started September 2021

Tell us a fun fact about yourself? I love ‘working things out’. I think I must be related to Agatha Christie somehow? I love being an amateur detective and guessing “who dunit?” I enjoy detective novels, movies, and games (love Cluedo!). And my latest obsession – Escape Rooms!

What are you most looking forward to, or what have you enjoyed so far, as part of the Good360 team? My favourite thing about joining is the culture and the outcome of our work. Everyone is so supportive and their focus is totally about helping the members and the donor companies. We are empowering the members to continue doing their good work, providing a vehicle for the donors to make a difference  and reducing waste. It’s a very positive and inspiring environment.

Kate Stock

Where in Australia are you? Adelaide, SA

What is your Role and when did you start at Good360? I am the new Partnerships Manager for SA and I started the 27th of September 2021.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself? Love portrait and aerial photography and painting with oils.

What are you most looking forward to, or what have you enjoyed so far, as part of the Good360 team? My new role at Good360 empowers me to help lots of SA based charities do their work even better and doing this makes me so happy!!  I received such a warm welcome from the team; everyone has gone out of their way to offer help to me and support me to settle in easily. I look forward to the borders opening so that I can come to Sydney and meet everyone face to face.

Salma Ghoraba

Where in Australia are you? Perth, WA

What is your Role and when did you start at Good360? Partnerships Manager WA and started on the 27th of September

Tell us a fun fact about yourself? I was born and raised in Cairo Egypt and so I can speak, read and write Arabic. I am a reformer pilates addict and I’m a sometimes fashion stylist (I’m an Olympian at shopping)!

What are you most looking forward to, or what have you enjoyed so far, as part of the Good360 team? The values of Good360 are really aligned with mine! Kindness is not only a value of the organisation but I’ve seen it everyday in the way Alison and the team lead and tackle daily tasks/opportunities.

I’m at my happiest doing my small part in giving back and helping any community that is going through hardship to get their hands on the material aid requirements needed.

Letitia Shepherd

Where in Australia are you? Sydney, NSW

What is your Role and when did you start at Good360? Digital Marketing & Communications Manager, I started on the same day as Kate & Salma (late September).

Tell us a fun fact about yourself? I worship at the alter of Dolly Parton (she’s a queen). I grew up in the Barossa Valley and I’m a keen (and fairly experienced) snowboarder. I’ve worked in ski resorts in Australia and Canada.

What are you most looking forward to, or what have you enjoyed so far, as part of the Good360 team? So far I’ve just been blown away by how supportive and kind the team are. It’s been such a pleasure to work alongside such an incredible, talented and passionate group of people. I love the camaraderie that comes from working together for a greater Good(360).

The power of turning surplus inventory into social good

With Australia accelerating efforts towards circularity by 2030, it is critical that all sectors of the economy and society are working together collaboratively and cooperatively to address the increasing resource constraints, inequities in resource allocation and growing waste challenges. This requires consumers, businesses, governments, and the charitable sector to all play their part in creating a more sustainable and equitable future for all, recognising we are all part of a collective dynamic ecosystem that is co-creating our future together.

International Women’s Day 2023 – Cracking the Code at Good360 Australia

March 8 is International Women’s Day, and this year UN Women Australia’s 2023 theme is ‘Cracking the Code: Innovation for a gender equal future’. This brings an opportunity for everyone to acknowledge the power of innovative technologies and systems in the advancement of women, who are marginalised globally and have a smaller presence in the digital world. We are also challenged to address the current barriers in place that keep women stagnant and play our small part to welcome women to move through society as comfortably as men.
