ABC News Breakfast interviews Alison Covington on new report
On Tuesday, March 22 Alison Covington, Founder and MD of Good360 was interviewed by ABC News breakfast announcing the release of a report by Deloitte Access Economics into pre-consumer waste.
The report speaks to the scale of brand new, non perishable, household items currently going to waste in Australia, which totals $2.5 billion per annum. Alison spoke with the News Breakfast team about how Good360 is trying to turn this unavoidable waste into a positive, by diverting these goods to the people who need them.
Our hope is to work closely with government and the Australian business community to stop these items being wasted and through our network of more than 3,000 charities and disadvantaged school across the country, get the right goods to the right people at the right time.
